File List Example

When a submission needs to reference a lot of files, these can be referenced through an external file using the File List section attribute.

The referenced file list should contain valid page tab representing a files table in any format, it doesn't necessarily need to match the submission's format i.e. you can send a submission using TSV format and reference a file list in JSON format.

Below, you’ll find an example of a submission that uses the File List mechanism.

Submission

Submission	S-BIAD765
Title	A Submission With A Lot Of Images
AttachTo	BioImages

Study	SECT-001
Title	Root Section
File List	Experiment.tsv

File List

This is an example of the content that the referenced file list (Experiment.tsv) should contain. Please note that the file's extension changes depending on the format but, as described above, you can mix any submission format with any file list format i.e. you can send a submission using TSV format and reference a file list in JSON format.
